i'm 2:30 minutes into this video and i had the exact same thoughts about the 'Sea Peoples'. The first time i ran into the phrase i thought to myself, "well this mystery has surely been solved by now, this video just isn't that deeply researched'.. And video after video, nobody could answer who the Sea Peoples were. So your motivation for making this video is exacly why i clicked on it because im still trying to piece that part of the puzzle together. Can't wait to see the rest.. I am Serb and I find it very funny how both Serbs and Albanians cope about Illyrian identity. Yes, Albanians are mainly descendants of paleo-Balkanic substrate. Is that mainly Thracian or Illyrian, it's not clearly noted anywhere. There are only theories. First off, as a historian I personally believe that Albanians are mainly descendants of Romanized Thracians who moved a bit from middle of the Balkans to the sea, and that theory is the most acceptable to me. We Serbs are admixture of Slavs who conquered Balkans in 7th century AD and paleo-Balkanic people who were assimilated to Slavs. I personally have I1-Z63 haplogroup which means that I have ancestry from Gothic tribes that were on Balkans in 4th century, so they most likely get Romanicized and then Slavicized. Another thing that I want to say is that I don't have problems if Albanians claim that they're descendants of Illyrians. Because it means nothing much anyway. Our Slavic ancestors came and conquered Balkan peninsula and I'm proud of it. We created a duchy, and then kingdom and even Empire, and Albanians were our vassals during Serbian empire. Both 🇷🇸 and 🇦🇱 have Byzantine influence and Albanians were orthodox Christians back then. Even our double headed eagles are typically Byzantine heritage. Sadly, Ottomans came and largerly islamized Albanians and now we mostly hate each other. Ultranationalist cope of both Serbs and Albanians is really funny. History need more historians, and less ultranationalist kids who don't even read books.

Those first few sentences give a very common and false pretext. As there were more wars declared against Napoleon than vice versa.
